Abstract: Language is one of the basic elements in the construction of gender identity. The notion of gender stresses how the sex is demonstrated. Gender also characterizes the person’s masculinity or femininity in behavior, including verbal behavior. Consequently language and verbal behavior of a person in some communicative sit-uation are important features in gender’s identity construction.
