THE HUMAN FACTOR IN TIME CONCEPTUALIZATION: SUBJECTIVE REPRESENTATION OF DURATION IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract:  The article focuses on the peculiarities of conceptualization of time duration in the English language. The analysis scrutinizes linguistic expression of the process in question. The paper highlights the key role of man as the subject of conceptualization. The predominant models are revealed and interpreted.
