REASONING IN IHE LIGHT OF SPEECH ACT THEORY

Abstract:  The article treats reasoning as a complex speech act. The reasoning consists of such illocutionary speech acts as assertives and directives witch are sayings with the intention to inform, to describe or let the hearer explain, illustrate some problem. The illocutionary speech acts used in the reasoning include a further perlocutionary act, an actual effect, such as persuading. These acts are interpreting in the context of the frame.
