AGENDA STRUCTURING IN MEDIA SPACE AND SOCIAL COGNITION

Abstract:  The report focuses on the tasks conditioned by text multitude as a new text phenomenon existing first of all in media space in the form of purposeful, syntactic, functional, intentional unity. Social cognition is described as cognitive basis of such multitude. Agenda structuring in concrete sociocultural space is interpreted as the mechanism of text multitudes formation, realizing important sociocultural functions, tightly connected with the collective identity construction of collective subject of cognition and communication.
