Abstract: The paper presents the cognitive and communicative actions which are used by the popular anchorman in the production process of the author's program on the radio «Echo Moscow». The cognitive and communicative actions of the publicist are characterized as elements of the cognitive mechanism of the reality's interpretation, markers of the author' s individual speech style and the author manipulation means of the mass-media target audience's opinion. The paper revealed the variants of the author's cognitive and communicative actions, their functions and the ways of the text representation.
