MATRIX MAPPING OF THE TRANSLATION PROCESS. SYNERGETIC APPROACH

Abstract:  The article looks at the problem of describe the cognitive aspect of the translation process with the view of the synergetic and anthropological approaches. The translator is considered as the nucleus of the system. Decision making in the translation process is done through the activation of both inner and outer resources, including cognitive structures of the mind, translator's mental space and all sorts of background and external knowledge to be processed later. The synergetic aspect of the model is explicated by its dynamic, yet non-linear nature, openness, networking, self-regulation and manageability.
