THE CONCEPT HEALTH: THE LEXICOGRAPHICAL INTERPRETATION OF THE KEY-LEXEME

Abstract:  The result of the lexicographical interpretation of the key lexeme, the name of the analyzed concept Health, on the basis of 19 dictionaries of different periods of Russian history are presented in this issue. It was shown that the generic nature of the concept Health had presented categorical cognitive attributes: state (the body), existential state (of its organs). Cognitive features clarifying the generic characters of the concept Health are the subject of the state; the physical and mental / spiritual state of health; the state of Health as a value; the gradualism of the state: Health / Not-health.
