Abstract:  The article deals with the study of features of the concept «business competition» metaphorical representation in modern English-speaking business publicist discourse. The role of war metaphor, based on «Game of Thrones», is examined as a cognitive - communicative model with the aim of the most optimal representation of the certain concept from business sphere in terms of English-speaking business-publicist discourse.
