THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE PROVERBIAL CONCEPT AND PROTOTYPE SOUL IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH

Abstract:  The article focuses on the reconstruction of the concept and the prototype SOUL in Russian and English proverbs. The cognitive aspect of the research allows exposing regularities and differences in the vision of the world peculiar to different nations. The author of the article makes an attempt to analyze and compare the proverbial concept and prototype, the structure of which constitutes a set of cognitive themes, propositional units of knowledge, functionally relevant to the description of a cognitive model of a proverb.
