THE FAMILY-HOME HYPERCONCEPT IN THE ENGLISH AND LEZGHIN LANGUAGES

Abstract:  The content of the СЕМЬЯ/ХАЗАН/FAMILY - ДОМ/КВАЛ/HOME concepts is analyzed on the basis of the dictionary articles, which helps reveal the universal character of these concepts for the Lezghin and English cultures, as well as gives reason to assert the existence of the СЕМЬЯ/ХАЗАН/FAMILY - ДОМ/КВАЛ/HOME hyperconcept which is comprised by the two mentioned concepts due to close associative and differential ties between their semantic components.
