METAPHORICAL SYNAESTHETIC TRANSFER FROM TASTE SENSORIUM INTO EMOTIONS

Abstract:  The concept «synaesthetic metaphor» includes all cases of taste sensation → emotion transfers which occur due to associations between abstract notions and sensory impressions of taste. In this study we analyzed the model of metaphorical synaesthetic transfer: taste → emotion illustrated by the example savoury facts.
