Abstract: The article views national-cultural peculiarities of evaluative perception of political activity. On the material of news articles in English mass media the cognitive structure of evaluative statements about Russia’s President’s activity is analyzed. The universal character of basic evaluative categories that contain knowledge about professional activity is proved, the frame model of evaluative knowledge of the Russian political leader’s activity in British and American consciousness is specified.
