LANGUAGE CATEGORIZATION OF EXPERIENTIAL FEATURE

Abstract:  The article discusses the problem of language categorization of experiential feature as one of the types of perceptional feature on the basis of English adjectives analysis. The cognitive essence of such type of feature and its oppositional character is defined. Its variants belonging to one and the same conceptual field are presented. The system of categories the feature under the question is brought to is revealed on the basis of defining semantic spheres of its primary and differentiational nominations action
