Abstract: In this paper we model the KOMI NATIONAL CUISINE concept that consists of subconcepts and concept-elements and categorize mentioned mental units with the help of the term of conceptual-thematic field. The work considers concept from the point of view of cross-cultural and cross-language interaction. The research is based on modern Russian-language newspaper discourse.
