EVOLUTION OF THE ANTHROPOCENTRIC FACTOR IN THE BRITISH GRAMMATICAL TRADITION OF THE LATE XX – EARLY XXI CENTURIES

Abstract:  The article discusses the evolution of the anthropocentric approach in English descriptive and functional grammars to describe the grammatical system of the language. The reasons for its increasing relevance, as well as the ways of its realization in the works of the above directions are pointed out.
