COINING OF TECHNICAL TERMS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF COGNITIVE APPROACH TO LANGUAGE STUDY

Abstract:  The report is devoted to some results of the study of cognitive principles and mechanismsa of new technical terms creation, including cognitive models, categories of mental constructs, intentionality, cultural traces in the underlying forms of technical terms, as well as extralinguistic factors that exert an impact on the process.
