Abstract: In this report the basic problems of lexicography of ethnonymic are analyzed on the material of ethnonymy of Permskii Krai. On the example of texts of different discourses (business, scientific, dialect, artistic) a solution to problems is offered; the problems refer to the selection of linguistic facts, the choice of sources, the distribution of materials according to the ideographic classes, the construction of the language entry. Moreover, it is concluded that the regional ethnonymic dictionary must reflect peculiarities of the ethnonyms functioning in different types of discourse; it must give the opportunity to see the linguocultural specifics of this branch of vocabulary, which reflects the ethnic fragment of linguistic picture of the world.
