LINGUISTIC AND COGNITIVE STRATEGIES FOR CREATING COMICAL EFFECT IN GERMAN SPORTS DISCOURSE

Abstract:  The report deals with basic principles for creating comical effect in German sports discourse. Parts of discourse are revealed in which the comical category is of greater density. There are some peculiarities of humour functioning in the discourse-practice. As stated, they influence the nature of humorous colouring of ethnic culture.
