FRAME MODELING OF MANIPULATION DISCOURSE IN “NIGERIAN LETTERS” TEXTS

Abstract:  The article explores the heuristic potential of frame analysis approach to the cognitive modeling of manipulative attacks aiming to change the manipulated person’s world value mapping. The research is realized on the data of Nigerian letters’ text corpus – a kind of spam messages conceived to make the addressee to give voluntarily his money to the unknown imposters.
