Abstract:  Configuration is regarded as the principle of integrity and sustainability, defining the structural and functional features of forming properties of the elements as constitu- ents of a particular meaningful system integrity of specific units, which is especially important in the context of the essential problems of a wide variety of fields, including psychology of creativity. This principle assumes the design of the «pre-image» as ter- minological configurator that integrates a rich set of cognitive independent elements as its conceptual characteristics. The polyfunctional synthesis of the elements is actualized in the process of spontaneous design of the sense, thus creating a particular modification as a new meaningful object, and forming а new categorical unit as a configurator of the term system.

Keywords:  configuration, the term, terminological configurator, pre-image, psychology of creativity
