METAPHORIC CONCEPTUALIZATIONS OF TIME IN THE SCIENCE FICTION DISCOURSE

Abstract:  The major focus of the report is on metaphoric conceptualizations of TIME in works of science fiction by English writers. The report also explores cognitive transformations of conceptual metaphors of time.
