METAPHORICAL POTENTIAL OF THEATRICAL TERM

Abstract: 

The paper is devoted to revealing theatrical term metaphoric potential in British and American English. Source-spheres, target-spheres of metaphorical combinations, frame structure, strategies and tendencies of their primary semantic transformation are defined.
