Abstract

Particularities of LONDON’s conceptualizations in A.C. Doyle’s stories about Sherlock Holmes are being under consideration. The method of “layer” analysis of concept used in the research helps to reveal distinguishing conceptual features of London, which reflect the author’s attitude and literary intention.
