COGNITIVE POTENTIAL OF TOPOS IN BILINGUAL LITERARY TEXT

Abstract: 

The article considers the category topos as a constituent of bilingual literary text. Topos has universal characteristics peculiar to amplify thoughts and etnospecific dominants, reflecting significant lingvocultural constants. Cognitive potential of topos is treated in the article as the production with the help of cognitive structures more complex levels in bilingual literary text, what are, for example, concepts.
