Abstract:
The language of modern lecture is governed by the aim of scientific style, thus there is a striving for the most stereotyped form of expression. Various devices, conventional set phrases, use of passive constructions, and personal and impersonal statements serve to create subjective mode of expression owing to category of dialogue in lecturer’s speech. The consistency of their usage is identified by the peculiarity of ethno-cultural world pattern.
