Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the analysis of monological genres in the framework of conflict and congruous types of discourse. Political news, the President’s Message, political commentary serve as a material for analysis. The author comes to the conclusion that each of the above-mentioned genres possesses its own structural peculiarities which determine their functioning either in conflict or congruous discourse.
