DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF LITERARY TEXTS

Abstract: 
The article studies discourse analysis of literary texts as compared to conceptual analysis. Discourse analysis can be used as a method of research not only in discourse linguistics but in cognitive linguistics that increases the potential of linguistic research. We get implicit information that makes some basis for the reconstruction of the world view through conceptual analysis of a literary text. Discourse analysis is used to study the cultural context and situation.
