SOCIAL STRUCTURES AND MENTAL LEXICON

Abstract: 
Тhе mental lexicon is directly linked with the worldview; semantic relations in the mental lexicon define the boundaries of categories. Categories of social life – the social structures that determine human life, as well as social attitudes and values – are also reflected in the mental lexicon. The subject of consideration here is a reflection of social identities and social values in the mental lexicon of different ethnic groups.
