SEMANTIC AND PRAGMATIC POTENTIAL OF A SLANG WORD “КАК БЫ”

The article analyzes the pragmatic meaning of statements with the word kak by, defines the functions of this word in oral speech and possible causes of its high frequency in youth slang.
