COGNITIVE DISSONANCE IN THE INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract: 
The problem of cognitive dissonance in the intercultural communication in the cases of inadequacy of perception of the communicants, occurrences of contradictions in the value systems, their interpretation, incongruence of the associative representations of the partners, divergence of the linguistic systems is dealt with in the article.
