Abstract:
In the article relative adjectives are seen as predicate words, but the subclasses of argument-predicate and substance-predicate adjectives are treated as having different concept essence. The adjectives of the first subclass describing a concept expressed by a noun arouse in the mind a complex concept – the intersection of the concepts of basic and described nouns. The second type adjective actualizes an integral concept with a certain property.
