Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of patterns for communicative behaviour in judicial discourse. judicial discourse represents a system that regulates people’s relations in modern society; it is described in special written norms, regulations, rules of law. Formal politeness consists in abiding by these regulatory conventions. Patterns of impolite behaviour can be referred to as irregularity in proceedings and violations of communicative norms. The former mainly include breach of judicial instructions; the latter are connected with using explicit and implicit impoliteness markers. Contamination of both is also possible.
