Abstract:
The article is devoted to the cognitive-matrix analysis of precedent situations. As other precedent phenomena situations transmit economic knowledge in scientific texts. This type of knowledge can be characterized as matrix format knowledge having multifold nature. The study of the units of language which represent knowledge of such kind should be realized with the help of the cognitive matrix method. The article describes the peculiarities of this method and presents the results of the study of precedent situations in scientific economic texts.
