FUNCTIONAL TAXONOMY OF THE CONCEPT PERCEPTION VISUELLE (THE CASE STUDY OF FRENCH VERBS)

Abstract: 
The article analyzes a complex cognitive model, namely the functional taxonomic model of the concept PERCEPTION VISUELLE by the example of the French visual perception verbs. This model shows the connection between the conceptual and linguistic levels as well as the peculiarities of functional categorization of linguistic units that the model comprises. The article views the French verbs of visual perception voir and regarder as an example of such units.
