Abstract:
It is assumed that the linguistic category of function words appears as an interpretative category while its elements realize interpretative meanings. The authors come up with an idea that categories of content and function words have different conceptual grounding, therefore the use of a content or function word represents the conceptualization of reality in its content-related or structural aspects. A function word is viewed as representing various types of knowledge and knowledge interpretation.
