REPRESENTATION OF PERCEPTUAL EXPERIENCE THROUGH SPACE AND TIME

Abstract: 
Within the framework of cognitive paradigm the article deals with the study of modelling perceptual experience as a type of knowledge representation within the meaning of secondary concepts nominating natural space objects in English. Semantic changes within the meanings peculiar to this domain are revealed and cognitive models which are the basis for the metaphorical shift “Natural Space Objects →Time” are identified.
