Abstract:
The article is focussed on the concept of pride in Russian linguaculture. The concept PRIDE is perceived as an example of social feeling conceptualization in the language consciousness of the members of a given community. The status of PRIDE as a modus concept is also discussed. A dynamic approach to the investigation and description of such concepts is proposed. It is argued that the practice of mother-child communication being observed and analyzed could contribute to the process of concept modeling.
