SOME ASPECTS OF INTERCONNECTION OF THE CONCEPTS TIME, SPACE, WAY / ROAD

Abstract: 
This article is dedicated to the interconnection of the concepts TIME, SPACE, WAY / ROAD as depicted in A. Niffenegger’s novel «The Time traveller’s wife» and Ch. Dickens’s tale «А Christmas carol». It describes specific features of time representation in these writings and the TIME – SPACE metaphoric mechanisms.
