Abstract:
The process of a «secondary conceptual mapping» helps establish new associa-tions of the given «concept» (kontsept) and thus, its verbalized symbol – the word – acquires another meaning. When a «concept» (kontsept) is being borrowed by a foreign culture it passes a stage of a «secondary cultural conceptual mapping» acquiring some connotations and associations that might be quite far from its native linguoculture.
