THE PROBLEM OF RECATEGORIZATION OF MENTAL OBJECTS IN THE FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE

Abstract: 
The article examines the phenomenon of recategorization of mental objects in the field of scientific knowledge. The analysis of the examples of the scientific terminology presented in dictionaries revealed salient characteristics of this phenomenon: means of objectification in language, productive models and directions of recategorization.
