Abstract:
The paper is concerned with the study of structuring the content and conceptual aspect related to the process of generating academic writing, e.g. academic discourse in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. The following basic content-conceptual text units / parts are involved in modelling a PowerPoint presentation: topic (in the form of a heading), introduction, main part, conclusion. These text parts are developed in the context of appropriate verbal representations and mental / cognitive processes characteristic of academic writing as a form of scientific communication.
