METAPHOR AS A COGNITIVE MECHANISM OF FORMING EVALUATION OF VERBAL ACTS IN ENGLISH

The article deals with cognitive foundations of metaphorization and formation of evaluative judgements about verbal acts based on the process of metaphorization, as well as with the ways of representing the components of the frame «verbal act» in modern English.
