Abstract:
The author highlights the peculiarities of the intellectual abilities categorization, their low level of development, in particular, when represented by the English language means. The effectiveness of cognitive-semiotic approach to the problem solution is argued, which can lead to new valuable results as far as language and in-tellect interrelationship is concerned.
