BORROWINGS IN TERMINOLOGICAL SYSTEMS OF PHONETICS AND METRICS (on the material of English and German)

Abstract: 
The paper presents the analysis of processes of borrowings that worked for the emergence and development of the terminological apparatus of phonetics and metrics. The study of phonetico-metrical terminology from the viewpoint of its origin makes it possible to contribute to researching means of formation and replenishing the national terminological systems of linguistics.
