COGNITIVE SCIENCE AND SYNERGETRICS IN LEXICAL STRUCTURING OF THE TEXT: READING AND RE-READING YU.M.LOTMAN

Abstract: 
Synergetic cognitive model is considered as one of possible cognitive models. Ideas and notions of synergetics are followed through lexical structure of Ju.M. Lotman’s articles and notes. The author analyses cognitive function of tropes and interprets the text from a synergetic point of view, applying Lotman’s definition of a text as ‘an information generator, displaying intellectual features of a personality’. The author argues that Lotman’s statements on cognitive and synergetic aspects which are found in his articles and notes are of great importance for purely linguistic textual analysis.
