Abstract:
This article is dedicated to Anglo-Saxon temporality perception and its reflection in Old English. The author applies her own scheme of time perception to the material under study. The scheme includes static and dynamic time perception. It is proved that cyclical and ego-static models of time perception are more common in Anglo-Saxon than linear and ego-dynamic models.
