Abstract
Relationship between temporal and spatial meanings is considered within a single linguistic unit (verbal prefix pro-). There is being described an inventory of meanings which are combined into acognitive structure with various types of bonds, based on the idea of motion. Time and space are considered as two sides of one phenomenon, with their choice stipulated by several factors: by semantic characteristics of the verbal stem and by the context.
