FUNCTIONAL, LINGUISTIC AND COGNITIVE MODELS OF A VERBAL SIMILE

Abstract: 
A new complex method of modelling verbal similes is suggested. There are three models suggested and correlated: linguistic, functional and cognitive. Linguistic model is an invariant of functional models. Linguistic and functional models are static. Cognitive model reflects dynamics of cognition.
