Abstract
The author believes that poetic idiostyle should be studied through interaction between mental and language phenomena and suggests a way of research from concepts and cognitive structures of the author’s mind to verbal means of their embodiment. The object of the research is individual conceptual domain as mental ground of poetic idiostyle in the aspect of its structural organization and typology of its basic units – concepts. The typology of belles concepts suggested in the article is based on the Representation Theory of Mind and psycholinguistic conception of the universal subject code. It is asserted that the concept type predetermines special features of its verbal representation and a method of analysis. It allows to regard the Representation Theory as methodological basis for cognitive theory of poetry. Theoretical statements are verified by the material of Georgi Ivanov’s poetry.
