TO THE PROBLEM OF INTERACTION OF MEDIA TEXTS AND PROCESSES OF GERMAN ETHNO-CULTURAL CONSCIOUSNESS EVOLUTION

Abstract: 
The article is devoted to consideration of such actual scientific concepts, as cultural memory, collective memory, cultural identity, ethno-cultural consciousness. The author investigates mechanisms of influence of mass media on processes of German ethno-cultural consciousness evolution. In article suggestive and mythmaking mass media functions are in more detail considered. Besides, the author aspires to show result of media texts influence on formation of distinctions in ethno-cultural consciousness of inhabitants of the Federal Republic of Germany and German Democratic Republic during existence of two German states, and also ways of an explication of these changes in texts of mass media.
